Website Launch
Before we launch any website, we go through a series of prelaunch and post launch processes to ensure that your website will gain maximum visibility and is free of any errors or other criteria that would be a problem with the search engines.
Pre-Launch Check List:
- Typography and layout
- Spelling and grammar
- Consistency
- Check for hard-coded links to staging domain (i.e. ensure all links will change to ‘live’ URL/domain when site is launched)
- Ensure no test content on site
- Ensure important old/existing URLs are redirected
- Accessibility and Validation Tests
- Search Engine Visibility, SEO and Metrics
- Configure backup schedule, and test recovery from backup
- Performance tests
- Create custom 404/error pages
Post Launch Check List:
- Submit to search engines
- Check formatting of site results in SERPs
- Check analytics for problems, popular pages etc. and adjust as necessary
- Update content
